01 / INSTALL ONCE

Add Craft to Studio.

  1. Open a test place. In Roblox Studio, open a local copy of your game or a fresh Baseplate.
  2. Open Plugins → Plugins Folder. Move the downloaded Craft.rbxmx file into that folder using Finder or File Explorer. If you installed an earlier copy, replace it so only one plugin remains.
  3. Reopen Studio. Open your test place, then choose the Craft button on the Plugins toolbar.
02 / CHOOSE YOUR WORKFLOW

Get a change into your game.

Try it without an account

In a browser project, open Roblox Studio under Creative tools. Review the checkpoint obby or your saved Luau, then download the reviewed change.

In the plugin, choose Import reviewed file and select that JSON. Check the place and scripts, then apply. This copy stays local.

Pair a cloud project

Sign in as the project owner. Open Roblox Studio under Creative tools, create a pairing code and enter it in the plugin. Confirm the matching place in Craft.

Review the source and destination before approving an operation. Keep the plugin panel open so Studio can receive it and send the result back.

03 / PLAYTEST

Take the first jump.

For a local file, select Playtest this change in the plugin. For a paired project, review and approve the playtest in Craft. A test runs your game scripts in Studio. Check the result, then use Studio’s Play button to try the game yourself.

Your game stays unpublished until you choose to publish it in Roblox Studio.
